The Branch would like to thank Gill Medley, Nurse Clinician at the Walton Centre, and Elaine Hackett, Artist at the Art Quarter, located in the Met Quarter, Liverpool city centre, for raising an amazing £1,100 for the Branch.

The money was raised from the sale of antique rings at the Art Quarter. The rings were made in the 1970s by Gill’s Grandmother, and Gill and her family donated them to be sold to raise funds for MND, and the Art Quarter kindly sold them.

Joe and Tom ran the Wigan half marathon to raise funds for the MND Association and Prion Disease. Joe's Dad Steve has been diagnosed with MND and Tom's Dad has Prion Disease. Together Joe and Tom they have raised over £9000. Well done!
